I have spent my entire career understanding how people need to find and use information. Though technologies and platforms have changed over the years, many of the same principles and methodologies have remained in effect as to what constitutes good design - the ability to satisfy customers’ unmet needs.
Over the years, my clients have included several Fortune 500 companies, across a variety of industries including aerospace, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, financial services, insurance, security systems, and entertainment.
Most recently, I have been working as a design researcher executing research with the goal of helping clients develop and improve their digital customer experience strategies. Over the years, I've been in too many projects where is no clear understanding of what the problem is or the wrong problem is being addressed.
Using research, we can develop a much deeper understanding of customers’ motivations, goals, behaviors, and needs - and then design with clear intention. My work is to ensure that design strategies address the target audience needs while aligning with business and brand objectives.
My special interests include Empathy, Design and Emotion, Storytelling, Persuasive Design, Service Design, Co-Creation and Collaboration.
My other passions include our two greyhounds, yoga, travel, cooking, wine, books, films, and spending time at our vacation home in Stonington, CT.
